In my current role as an Art Educator I have 45 different classes totaling 1,000 students. To aid in communication with my professional peers and parents I developed a classroom website to inform the happenings in the art classroom. With the practice and management of the site, I'm constantly reflecting and evaluating my teaching. This digital format has also allowed me to connect with educators around the globe furthering my professional development. My website was recently named as the Art Education Blog of the Year, which has opened opportunities for me to learn, share, and teach my peers and professional learning network.
